Amélie Couvrette is a professor in the Department of Psychoeducation and Psychology at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. She is a regular researcher at the Centre international de criminologie comparée (CICC). Her research interests focus on difficulties experienced by marginalized, criminalized or incarcerated women, on prison and gender-sensitive approach and on social reintegration.

Ms. Genevois is coordinator of programs and development at the Elizabeth Fry Society of Quebec. She holds a master's degree in anthropology. Concerned with social justice and marginalization, she has been working with women in the criminal justice system for ten years.

Ruth Gagnon

Ms. Gagnon is the Executive Director of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Quebec. She has worked in the community network for 43 years and with women in the criminal justice system since 1988. In 2015, she was an honorary graduate of the School of Criminology at the University of Montreal.
