Stéphanie Chouinard-Thivierge (UdeM)

Stéphanie is a professor at the School of Criminology at the Université de Montréal and a member of the Ordre des criminologues du Québec. Her research focuses on the developmental trajectories of children displaying problematic sexual behaviors and adolescents who have committed sexual offenses, with particular attention to their life experiences across different developmental stages. The outcomes of her work aim to inform the development of more tailored secondary prevention and intervention strategies that address the specific needs of youth, taking into account the developmental contexts in which problematic sexual behaviors emerge and evolve over time.
