Since the war in Syria began in 2011, over 5,000 European citizens have travelled to the Iraq-Syria zone. Faced with the departure of a number of its citizens, and in certain cases with their subsequent return, Belgium has like other countries found itself at the centre of new challenges. Based on a documentary analysis, as well as interviews conducted with various stakeholders in the criminal justice system involved in the post-sentencing management of returnees, this contribution seeks to explore how a multi-agency approach in Belgium is operationalized within the framework of tertiary prevention.
This forty-sixth episode features an interview with Coline Remacle, Isabelle Detry, Patrick Jeuniaux, and Benjamin Mine.
